I've also seen the black pit board in my pit stall. I haven't tried to figure out when it occurs. It seems to have started with either the 1.1 or 1.2 patch, but you're getting it even after re-installing 1.0. I'll try to pay closer attention and see if the pattern is the same as yours (i.e., going to Watkins Glen and Mosport first.)
