G'day,
I've been trying to run races with Danny Gelston's Aussie V8 supercars
and I'm having a bit of a problem.
If I just extract the cars to the patch directory and go to run a race
I obviously get a mixed field with the likes of BMW's etc amongst the
Australian cars.
So I've started playing around with MASpuce and Readmas to edit the
vehicle.mas file.
The Aussie cars are classed as GT3 and from the little research I've
done it looks as though all I have to do is either remove the other
GT3 cars .veh file or edit them so that the "UnlockPoints=" part is
99, making it so that they are not picked by the computer for a race.
I've tried both of these options and I can both practice and qualify
fine, with the whole field being Aussie cars. The problem is when I
try to start a race. I see the loading screen and then the game either
just exits to the desktop or locks up hard.
Any idea's on what I might be doing wrong? I've played around with
this so much now it's really starting to give me the shits :)
I've tried looking for specific help on editing the vehicle.mas file
but haven't had any luck.
It's probably something so easy that I'm missing.
