With all the talk about physics improvements with N4 I thought I'd add
to the upgrades for N4/5. Since the physics are (supposed to be) upgraded,
and many other Sims are going to be as good.. Is the next version (N5)
going to include spectator racing?
The subject has been brought up not to long ago and there have been many
different and good ideas. Also with the higher bandwidth being more and
more available, I'd assume spectator racing would be the logical next step.
Since papy might have the physics nailed down with only small improvements
made for the next versions I'd assume the other sims would have an easily
accessible target. The only thing to keep Papy above the rest would be to
include spectator racing.
(Hoping the right people are listening),
Mike

Don't forget commentators, too. After spectator racing, it would be interesting to implement
a pit crew (seriously). These guys would be moving around at the pit stop as if they're in a
FPS game, and have to service their team's car as fast as they can. Running over a pit crew
would be interesting, I must admit. ;-)

What does rally masters have? I'm guessing you have to have the sim
loaded in order to view the races? Or is there a separate application?

Just have one driver watch
the race and have Fire Talk running in the background. It's been done once
before. You just have to have someone with an exciting and dramatic voice.
