Are there any new Australian Sim Racers out there??? If so, have your heard about the "Australian Sim Racing Group"?? We are a club of racers who organise large races and run big Leagues with multiple divisions to suit competitors driving skills and experience. To date, we have over 120 members and are still growing!!!!! We run the "Grand Prix Legends Australian Championship" and the "Nascar 3 Australian Championship". For more information on how to join and keep up to date with the Australian Sim Racing scene, check out: http://www.powerup.com.au/~philmak/ASRG.htm James Pickard

Hi James, When are you going to start running F2 & F3 divisions in GPL, using the "trainer" cars ? At present, any Australian sim racers who want to race in the F2 & F3 cars in GPL has to look overseas and join overseas leagues, so the ASRG is missing out on a large proportion of good to excellent sim racers who have no interest at all in the F1 divisions of GPL. Cheers, Ron James Pickard <[email hidden]> wrote in article <u6%K4.4177$[email hidden]>... > Are there any new Australian Sim Racers out there??? > > If so, have your heard about the "Australian Sim Racing Group"?? > > We are a club of racers who organise large races and run big Leagueswith > multiple divisions to suit competitors driving skills and experience. We are open to suggestions. We currently run 4 Divisions in GPL (all F1), and are now up to 3 Divisions of N3. With varying skill levels, we can cater for anyone from newbies, to experienced drivers.... James Pickard Ron Ayton <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:01bfa98c$91d47a00$c14d868b@ronayton...

James, Any Nascar Legends online racing? I'm an old V8 man and I couldn't resist getting the classic V8 version of Nascar and not the modern version, unfortunately I seem to be one of very few who prefers to race the oldies ;( How many people do you get in N3 racing, and how often do you race? Might have to go pick up a copy... Cheers, Rod.

Gday Rod ... in the test races we have been running there have fields of up to 27 cars ... with the majority or races with more than 20. There is a good spread of talent and i know a few of the guys have Nascar Legends. They split the group into 3 divisions of NASCAR but will bring it back to 2 ... definitely worth joining in. head over to egroups.com as we have a mailing list there.
