A big "thank you" goes out to the creators of WinVROC.

Complaint that WinVROC never works
A self-described Windows NT programmer called WinVROC sloppy software that always failed, unlike the old SpyBoy. Many users defended WinVROC as reliable and thanked its creators. They pointed out that it was SpyBoy renamed and that the problem was probably on his own system.
Automated summary.
It's working constantly good for me :-))
(I mean Win VROC)

IF WinVROC indeed was such a piece of crap like you claim it to be wouldn't
there be more complaints in here?

On the contrary I applaud the efforts that have been put into WinVROC.
There is an ini file you may need (vroc.ini) - I don't know if this may be
your problem. Try the links via the help in WinVROC.

I would think you may not have all the latest patches or other
necessary files for WinVROC or GPL? Have you checked out the various
FAQ's on the use of WinVROC?

In the words of Amarillo Slim, "Winners talk, losers walk". Nobody
else has a beef with WinVROC and use the hell out of it. Talk is
cheap, so if you're such a hot-rod code jockey, then write something
better. I understand there's a GPaL revival project afoot. You'd be
appreciated there, I am certain...
BTW - I never knew you could program an OPERATING SYSTEM. I've had to
use various programming language compilers over the past twenty five
years. Silly me...

It's the same olld story.
There will always be kooks who think they are geeks. These people take great
pleasure in bashing the efforts of others without having actually
contributed anything of worth themselves. Hey buddy. Next time someone tries
to feed you a free lunch, maybe they will pass the sauce if you ask
reasonably, rather than bite his hand!
You will find a wealth of assistance and goodwill from the inhabitants of
