Re: Gran Turismo on PC ?

IMHO NFS-4 is the best pc equivalent of Gran Turismo. Especially when you got ALL the tracks (which include the racing tracks) enabled and all cars downloaded. I played Grand Turismo on my PC using Bleem, the PSX emulator. If you got a descent PC, you can play it with a better graphics quality (higher resolution) than on the PSX! Does some1 here know if there are some projects to develop a Gran Turismo or a Gran Turismo-like on PC ? Because, as a hardcore sim racer, i think that the PSX version with the better graphics of a PC and some new features would be the ultimate sim ever. (Tons of cars, custom mecanic pieces, driving licenses, etc....) If someone has some infos, please answer this post. Thanks.

it may be one of those games that sony will not release on a pc, basically to help sales. Most of other games can be found on both formats, I even got a Metal Slug X to play with!!!! Ramon Verlinden wrote:

I have played it using a WINTV card and routing the PSX signal through the card. IT looks better than on the TV, albeit mainly because it is on a very small windows screen. But I have noticed that you lose some of the visual impact when going through a tunnel at speed on a 17 inch monitor versus a 35 inch TV, inspite of the lack of resolution.
