Well, those of you who have tried the Pantsring know that in GPL no matter how high or how stiff (or both) the car is it will still slam into the track and go careening out of control... But, have you fooled with GRE yet? It's kinda sneaky...lets you get wheel rates as high as 300 lb/in for the front and 400 lb/in for both the rear springs and the swaybars...and it's the only thing that I have found that keeps the chassis off of the ground most of the time!!! Rear end just wanders around all over 99% of the time, so a lot of rear toe-in is needed... Another weird thing...with my setup I somehow stumbled into a strange spot just above the final transition (and with my steering wheel, an old Formula T1, doesn't have any spring-back so it will just sit there) where the car just RAN. NO wandering, nothing. I just had to keep the pedal floored, ran like 5 or 6 laps, setting a PB of 9.40 seconds. Then I was talkin to someone and I accidentally lifted, the car started to move up the banking, and I did a nice aerial maneuver...and tore all four wheels off on the landing (realistic damage...yet the motor suffered no damage at all! no smoke/rough revving/fire/explosion!!!)... -- Kirk Lane [email hidden] [email hidden] ICQ: 28171652 BRT #187 "Yeah you won't find me I'm going MIA Tonight I'm leaving Going MIA Getting lost in you again Is better than being known" -Foo Fighters, "MIA"
