I have one of the original TSW's. It was only the 80th one made or something. A friend of mine gave it to me since he never used it. It's as old as the hills and still in PERFECT condition. Smooth as silk. The only negative is that it does not have Force Feedback. That's why I have a LWFF =) ...Colin "Kieran Larkin" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8e5677$clu$[email hidden]... > i was wondering if any one has enought cash money to buy a tsw/tsw2 orecci. > if so could they do a review of it for ,y site cause id love t know what > they were like not having enough cash to ever be able to afford one myself > >

I just got my TSW2 wheel today. Looks good, feels good but my pc doesn't recognize it. I will try hooking it to my sound card directly instead of on my joystick switchbox. Anybody had the same problem? I am lucky (blessed) enough to have both a TSW and a TSW2 (and several other wheels as well -- like I said, "blessed"). Fixed the problem, works fine, it's a fine wheel... Very smooth. Philster wrote:

Its a FINE wheel. I splurged with a bunch of upgrades like the pedal pads and wheel buttons, split axis switch. The upgrades brought the cost up to $410 and it is well worth every penny after all that Thrustmaster garbage. :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Skotty Flynn skotty20 on Won Nascar-Racing-Sims.Com: http://www.nascar-racing-sims.com The Ultimate Sim Racing Directory: http://www.nascar-racing-sims.com/directory/ Member of The Sports Gaming Network http://www.sports-gaming.com

What calibration numbers do you get in GPL? (Steering, Trottle & Brake) Jerry Skotty Flynn wrote:

Works fine, except I can't get SCGT to recognize my split-axis... I think you may have to create a custom controller... Eldred -- Tiger Stadium R.I.P. 1912-1999 Own Grand Prix Legends? Here's what I finally had to do to get SCGT to recognize it (provided you use a 3-axis race car controller setup within the windows DX controller menu): -Flip the switch to combined axis -Hold down both brake and gas pedals -Start the game and keep the pedals held down until the game fully loads and you're at the main game menu -Let off the pedals -Flip the switch back to split axis -(you might have to flip the switch back to split axis BEFORE you let up on the pedals. I haven't played the game much recently. If it doesn't work the first way try it the second way.) Now SCGT should recognize all your appropriate axis in the controller setup menu. Hope this helps. -Chris- 1984 GPz 750 1989 ZX-10 1992 ZX-7 1998 ZX-9 2000 CBR929RR Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
