I need a motherboard for a system I'm building. The one that I *had* isn't working out right... I need an ATX motherboard for a Celeron 500 processor. I don't need any AGP slots(bought a PCI V3), but I need at least 4 PCI slots. I do NOT want one with built-in video or sound. That's what's screwing me up with the CURRENT system board... >:-( Any suggestions would be appreciated. Wanna hear something funny? It's an *Intel* board... I figured *that* was a good enough brand name... My Tyan board for the K6/3-400 worked FINE...go figure... I *did* manage to get the stupid thing running. I kept running into conflicts(memory) that I didn't have with the same cards in my K6/2-350 or K6/3-400 systems. I used the same parts for a fairer comparison of frame-rates<g> Thanks for the suggestions, guys. If I buy more parts, I'll definitely look at the Abit or Asus boards. I may do it on THIS one if it flakes out again. I haven't added my SCSI card or network card yet...<crosses fingers...> See, Dave H and Richard B. - I *told* you there was a wealth of info here...<g> Eldred -- Tiger Stadium R.I.P. 1912-1999 Own Grand Prix Legends? Intel motherboard: bad, if you want a board you can experiment with. The only board on my shopping list at the moment is the A-Bit BE6 II... I want those 1MHz increments :-> However I'm running solidly with a BH6@682/124MHz at the moment, so it's hard to find the excuse to upgrade. Andrew McP
