I just got hooked up with @home cable service and one of the first things I did was to install BlackIce firewall software. I have set to cautious setting. Does this affect online gameplay like N3? An easy answer would be to "turn it off", but is there a way to still have protection, but still race online without the firewall blocking incoming requests? Thanks for your thoughts....

I have BlackIce set to nervous and race frequently with no problems.
