Congratulations! You've now given the AI permission to improve by about 2 secs per lap. I'm sure they're appreciative of your efforts. Now try to win AGAIN... juliant wrote:

Well I've gone back to playing GPL a bit more lately, and for the first time ever, not only did I win the race, but I broke 1.30 at Monza - qualified second, but as usual was done to 6th by the first turn, but caught them all and won - and then was delighted to see one of my laps was 1.29.99 - theres hope for me yet - although I cant see me ever getting down to the 1.28's as some do - mind you I use the default set-ups just adjusting the fuel. Congratulations! Feels great doesn't it! I have got below 1:30 and almost won a race. It never gets easy though:) Chris In article <P1QO4.7915 $[email hidden]>, "juliant" <[email hidden]> wrote: >Well I've gone back to playing GPL a bit more lately, and forthe first >time ever, not only did I win the race, but I broke 1.30 atMonza - * Sent from RemarQ http://www.remarq.com The Internet's Discussion Network * The fastest and easiest way to search and participate in Usenet - Free!

Congratulations! And I bet if you try some of the downloadable setups out there, you'll find your time falling even more. Way to go!

I've noticed that with Monza the AI in a Novice race won't go much faster than 1:30.4. They were doing that when i was doing 1:31's and now I am under 1:30 they havn't noticably improved. In Intermediate races they are about a second faster and in Grand Prix mode they are doing 1:28's.
