Hi, I recently got a Guillemot wheel, but found it to be very sensitive
(compared to my old MS wheel). When reading the readme.txt it mentioned that
the wheel would calibrate itselft during use, and that one should turn the
wheel all the way left / right (and totally depress both pedals seperately)
to calibrate the wheel before starting a game. I found this to improve the
handling of the wheel greatly for me.

That is true for any 'self-calibrating' device.
