Well it looks like whatever quality Thrustmaster had before the
buyout has been destroyed.
A friend of mine stopped by the booth yesterday and has some
dissapointing news.
ALL of the products were of low grade parts, shabbily made and on top
of that the new all in one joystick they were showing off broke 3
hours after the show started.
Thrustmaster products are now being aimed to the cheap joystick
market only...Pity
On a slightly related note,he was able to see M$ new RTS controller
and while it looks strange he says it feels pretty comfortable and
after some learning it looks to be a good product.
Now that's a pity. I was hoping they could continue with their high end line
of joysticks, I know several flight simmers would love to see an updated
FLCS, F22Pro, TQS combination. Based on the pics I have seen from E3, that
certainly is not the case. Looks like their just expanding on the Top Gun
line, aimed more at the arcade folks.
Too bad, looks like TM will lose out to the serious flight simmers.
