What the 'Interval' timer means in Sports Car GT

Bruce Kennewell, who had bought Sports Car GT in a bundle without a manual, asked what the 'Interval' display showed. Several replies explained that it shows the split-by-split difference between the current lap and the best lap of the session, and he found the PDF manual on the CD. The rest of the thread was teasing about his typos.

On my SCGT CD which came with my LWFF there is an online manual in Acrobat pdf form called manual.pdf in the root of the CD. Your copy may have a similar online manual. Cheers Phil -- http://www.youpies.co.uk

The "manual" that came with the original release was no great work either.

Uh, yeah. I didn't say because Speedy Fast had already supplied the correct answer. It is the interval between your current lap and your best lap of your current session, broken down into splits.

Can someone please tell me exactly what the "Interval" timer relates to? We (son and I) haven't got a proper manual with this game because it was bought as part of a 3-game pack (Nascar Revulsion and Need For Something were the other two) and the only bloody "manual" is a sheet of paper saying how to install it!! (Of course, Nascar Revulsion gets a manual......but who wants that anyway?!) And to those who provided information on adjusting the sounds and downloading new sounds...a big "thank you". Everything is now blasting along beautifully :-) -- Regards, Bruce Kennewell, Canberra, Australia. ---------------------------
