First off here are my machine specs 750 K7 (500 with goldfinger) Asus KM7 256 meg ram V5500 (obviously) SB live value 13 gig 7200 Maxtor GPL: Virtually unplayable with 4xFSAA at any resolution above 640x480So what 's the point. Without FSAA 1280x1024 was full frames all the time as long as the Detail bar was all the way left. Nascar3: Martinsville at 1024x768 all detail all cars drawn 28fps on straits dropping to 24 in the corners. Seemed to be fairly jerky as I was turning the corners. Verdict: I need 200 more mhz and then maybe switch on 4xFSAA F12000: Frame rate hit makes it unplayable at all resolutions. My version of unplayable may differ than yours. Any thing less than 25 is unacceptable The surprise, SGGT At 1024x768 detail max 4xFSAA it was perfect. Smoothas silk. To bad I retired the game. NFS5 the demo ,Sucked at all resolutions with 4xFSAA. Played nice at 1280x1024 without FSAA My Verdict: Quadzilla come to me!

Maybe it doesn't like your Athlon... I read somewhere that even the GE 256 card from Nvidia had problems with that processor. Tim Yuhasz wrote:

The card performed very well without FSAA. As far as 2xFSAA It's all or none. But I will Try 2x tonight and post a followup. I have also rebuilt windows today, will see if that makes a differance. Tim
