Will the GeForce graphics cards take over some of the tasks from the CPU work requirements? Or is the card itself still dependent on the limitations of my current CPU? Which is...AMD K6-2 350 Mhz "3D Now". And...since I have you on the line...do any of you know of any "Baby AT" motherboards that will accept something like an Athalon (sp?) or a P3 processor? Thanks... Pops... [email hidden]

When I bought my GeForce DDR/DVI (Double Data Ram. One of the fast parts) I was on a 333. I noticed an immediate, and in some games profound, frame rate increase imediately. On my current 550e@800 it's even faster. So the answer is yes & no. Midtown Madness wouldn't work at all as the CPU couldn't keep up with the graphics card. Nascar 3 & Warbirds were both better looking and faster. GPL @ 800 is no problem at all with a full field, Mirrors at 3 & cars only and everything else on. Hope this helps Steve-S On Fri, 26 May 2000 10:41:56 -0700, "Pops" <[email hidden]> wrote:
