Has anyone yet succeeded in making this combo work? The game runs fine,
and all the buttons on my wheel work, but the car just twitched back and
forth when you turn the wheel. It only operates from full lock to full
lock in either direction - no in-between. Plus there's no feedback in
the wheel - not even the "non-feedback" pressure. 'Cept for this, I
have a hunch the game would work OK - with a joystick, there's no
problems.

Thanks Vin - I found them at http://www.wingmanteam.com/Latest_Software/
Win2K_Support/win2k_support.htm I'll give 'em a spin this evening and
see if they improve things...

Had a chance to check 'em out, and I get force feedback, all right. But
my controller calibrates in such a way that I can only turn right! I
tried the Clear Calibration utility at the wingmanteam.com website, but
it hasn't changed. Anyone have this problem too?

you have to follow the installation sequence to a T. Start installing the
drivers with the wheel UNPLUGGED and plug it in when it says to. It was the
only way I could get it to see the wheel. Other than that I had to turn the
FF forces down in GPL cause the W2k drivers made my regular settings way too
strong. If you've already done this then disregard. Oh I almost forgot the
most important thing, don't have any other joysticks plugged in, GPL and N3
wouldn't let me set the axis correctly with any other's plugged in even with
the wheel set on id #1!

utilizing
FF. My frame rates has dropped in a big way in FF.
