Taking a break from playing then panning it (:-P), here's a few little things that I'd like to see changed that maybe they just could do easily... In replay, or just when watching, let the +/- keys switch cars in their current order on the course rather than on whatever it is based on now (qualifying position??). That is, switch to the next car forward, then the next etc. Now, I have no idea whose car will be displayed next. Invariably, not where I want to look. Add the replay option to testing, practice and quals. Allow game saves between practice and quals, between quals and the race. Make the time acceleration FASTER. Add some post-race results like fastest laps and make it saveable. Fix the qualifying times such that: The lap time isn't slower when in accel mode than when in normal time, and The lap time isn't slower when in normal time (100%) than when you hit "end session". Maybe not that easy as I know the latter is based on values set in the game.gdb file (set to last year's results) whereas the real time mode is most probably setup dependent. That is, make the qualifying realistic! Okay, they were probably getting harder and harder to implement. So, I'll leave off the "fix the AI" and "fix the framerate" and telemetry requests ... for now :-)

> Allow game saves between practice and quals, between quals and the race. >You can do this. If you quit after a session, e.g. qualifying, just quit the game copy the career.bch file, then if you cock things up just restore the copy. I know it's messy, but if you write a little batch file to do it, then it is relatively painless. Iain

I'm taking a break too. Um... Torn Achilles tendon so I have a good excuse :-) Kind of pisses me off but I guess you have to roll with the punches. > Allow game saves between practice and quals, between quals and the race. Or is it really just improved??? -- [email hidden]
