If all you do is double-click on it, it won't work. If you are dragging the GPL.EXE file on top of it then it is working fine. Check to see if your GPL.EXE file has been backed up (GPL.EXE_BAK I think) If it's in your GPL directory then the patch was successful. When I try to run the GPL non-multiplayer-disconnect patch, a dos window opens for a fraction of a second, too fast to read, then disappears. What gives? Andrew

That the patch is a small DOS program that modifies gpl.exe, hence the short blink. Try to run the patch in DOS-window with gpl.exe as parameter and see what happens. Disclaimer : I don't know if anything happens, it's just a suggestion :) For your part is probably worked, it just don't tell you. -- Olav K. Malmin remove spam when replying

Andrew, check if the patch has created a backupfile of the GPL.exe. If do, it was successfull Jens On Wed, 07 Jun 2000 13:34:47 GMT, Andrew Turner <[email hidden]> wrote: >When I try to run the GPL non-multiplayer-disconnect patch, a dos window >opens for a fraction of a second, too fast to read, then disappears. > >What gives? > >Andrew --------------------------------------------- [email hidden] Remove "NOSPAM" before using my email-address JensSchumi homepage at http://members.xoom.com/JensSchu/ Racing simulation, esp.
