Does anyone know if GP3 will support Custom Championships (a la MGPRS2)
where you can specify the total number of races as well as the race order?
Also, does anyone know if the saved game files will follow a similar format
to that used in GP2?
I am currently running a small offline MGPRS2 league at
http://topgear.dhs.org as a proof of concept for running a completely
automated sim racing league based on submitting saved game files after every
race and I'm hoping to be able to do the same for GP3 soon after it's
released.
Please feel free to drop by our site and take a look around.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that GP3 will save 5 seconds worth or
replay? (or was it 5 minutes) If my memory serves, GP2 out of the box
saved replays that were measured in seconds.
Would make it quite difficult to run a league on 5 seconds worth of
replay ;)
Cheers,
Rod.

Not really, thats how msot GP2 leagues used to run. Theidea was to save the
game jsut at the end of the race, thus the league master could view th last
few seconds and get the results correctly, of course the introduction of
GP2LAP, or at least I think thats the name of it greatly helped against
cheating.
Since GP3 is an evolution of GP2, I can't see anything chaning for the
worse.
