National bragging rights on GPLRank

Posters joked about being the best driver from their country on GPLRank, especially among the few Belgian, French and Danish entries. Woodie 83 explained how to edit warp laps out of player.ini so they would not distort a ranking, and Don Scurlock pointed to the site's filters for country, chassis and track.

Go Jan! ( waves banners and cheers loudly) In honour of the Belgian beer I'm drinking tonight I'll say that you're the best Belgian racer *I've* ever met.( not to mention the *only* Belgian racer I know :) ) Drive a real he-mans car like the BRM and show your stuff!! Perhaps a *Championship de Belge*? Lol... it seems I have been challenged. Unfortunately all my current players have PB's in the 8 to 32 seconds range for some of the tracks (online warp = unfair). I'll create a new player and "do" all tracks off-line over the next two weeks or so. Mexico/Kyalami might be my downfall though (I need grip to be "competitive"). Thanks to Don McCorckle's suggestion I was able to purge my player.ini file of the offending laptimes so now I too appear in the wrong half of the ranking (220th at the time of writing), hereby comfortably assuming the position of "premier Belgian". ;-) On the downside, I'm now stuck with an iffy time for The Ring, but I least I don't have to worry about it untill one of the other two Belgian hotshoes surpasses me. You can do that with GPLRank. Just go to "Multiply Choice Hell", and you can select for Chassis, Track, and Country, or any combination of the three. -- Don Scurlock Vancouver,B.C. GPLRank -1.90 Come see how you rate, at the GPLRank site http://gplrank.schuerkamp.de/
