I've wanted this ever since I started racing on Hawaii some years ago
but never got any further then creating the thing in my head. Recently I've
created a data base and started to fill in some of the fields but then
thought that someone else should build the final version of what I'm after..
(biggest application for this thing would be for league racing in GPL and
possibly N#)
I want an application that will look at the official results HTML file
and automatically put all the info in to a data base. From there I want the
user to be able to create quarries to gather what ever info he wants to
grab.. I.E. what's the average finishing position for driver X, How often
Marquee X has been used. What's the average finishing position of marquee
X, ect.. **side benefit** you can create your own rankings system with this
info.
Like I said I have the database, or at least the table(s) design, I just
need someone to create the application that will read the results file and
place the info in to the respected fields of the application. If someone
thinks they can create such an application I can give a detailed outline of
what I'm after through Email.
