Hello All, This might be a little off topic, but I am putting together two new systems for some friends in our occasional LAN parties. I have heard that some people have had bad experiences with pairing Geforce based cards with Athlon mobos. Have any of you had similar problems or know of this being remedied? I doubt the software that we plat matters that much, but the machines will be running Win 98SE or Millenium and Qyake 3, NASCAR, Dirt Track Racing, Rally, and UT. Thanks Raymond

There are compatibility problems with certain mobo's. Just make sure that you buy a mobo with a KX133 chipset (Abit KA7, Asus K7V, etc.) and you'll be fine. The mobo's which have the problems all are based on the AMD750 chipset (like I have, I must run my Geforce in AGP 1x mode to keep it from crashing). Dennis.
