Yep sounds like an overheating video card to me.. it used to be noticeably
worse at silverstone..
I run v2's SLI'd and a V3 in my other machine... it was a feature of
the V2's so I slightly underclocked em' and then silverstone was
better..(well at least the pc didnt freeze!!)
Maybe the card you use is getting too hot?

Are you running in software or opengl? If software, you could TRY the
opengl patch from www.papy.com It could also be a heat problem. If
neither of these things helps, get a voodoo card.

Yes, I had the same problem too, I have Voodoo II SLI, and my problem
was solved after I downloaded the latest drivers for the Voodoo card.

Dropping the clock rate helped, but it started happening again, for about a
week before the card finally fried itself.
I have not had the problem since replacing the V2 with a V3.

below my Voo Doo. I now have a fan in front of the case pushing air into
the case, and this one sucking air out of the case. Makes for a rapid air
exchange. No more problems since. Also, check inside; you may have dust
around the CPU preventing it from being properly cooled.
