I have made a higher cockpit view for the GPLEA Lotus. I also
stretched (ouch) the driver's body so the head doesn't seem to be
floating around so badly. :)
I can email this to everyone who wants it and if there's more interest
I can add it to my page, too.
For editing the 3do file I used Gilles Benoit's 'RZ13 and RZ22 Objects
positions editor' and Dave Noonan's 3DOEd. Both should be available
from The Pits.
Ps. I have made higher cockpit views for the other cars, too.

Ok guys, I will update my site later tonight when (if) I get
confirmation from GPLEA guys to post their modified 3do files. If not,
I will at least post the 3do files for the other non-GPLEA cars.

LOL! Indeed, if Greger uses them, I'd like to try them too. Please
post them on your site Greger.
Thanks,

Greger,
Thanks for the higher cockpit view for the GPLEA Lotus. I've gotten
quite use to using the higher cockpit views. So when I installed the new
Lotus I had to use the original cockpit view. I found it difficult to "see"
down the track, but now I can really enjoy the new Lotus.

Yes, I know what you mean. When I first tried these higher cockpit
views it took me quite a long time to get used to them. But now I
wouldn't go back. :)

Greger, thanks for uploading the files. I tried it, but I deleted the
higher cockpit after an hour testing. It doesn't help me really, but
worse the feeling of driving was different, it felt like I was
standing on the Lotus! Well, it was worth the try.

your site. Some of them are brilliant. The Brabham-nurburgring is my
favorite and I can concentrate on the lines for each corner muuuch
better now. Thanks again.
