Hi:
I don't know if this is the proper forum for this question/problem but,
excuse me if it's not!
I had been playing Rally Championship 2K, SBK2K, FS2K and Falcon 4
without any problems whatsoever. Then I had a hard disk crash and had to
reformat it. After installing every driver/file that I had to, I'm
having problems with the aformentioned programs.
The programs install ok without any glitches, then when I run them,
after the initial screens, all I get is a black screen with sometimes a
cursor, other times I get the bottom windows start ribbon (where the
start button is).
I have a pentium III 500 with a Diamond Viper V770. I installed Directx
7.0a and the latest Viper drivers (v.283 I think) I have reinstalled
those drivers a few times without any positive results.
I have no problems running some programs, Word 2000, Norton Navigator
and Winzip, to mention a few. It's only the important programs I can't
use!!!
Any help with this matter will be appreciated, and once again, sorry for
the OT,
TIA,
Cuco
