Hands-on report and GP3 release date

A poster who drove GP3 praised its smoothness, graphics, AI and weather and confirmed a 28 July UK release, with a later US date. Others asked about physics improvements over GP2 and worried that a delayed US release would encourage piracy. The rest of the thread was about x-no-archive headers and Chicken Run.

Some people are worried about something they've said being kept forever. However, I've also seen people say that it's a wast of time. If someone quotes your message, and doesn't put the same 'no-archive' message in, there's still a permanent record... :) Eldred -- Tiger Stadium R.I.P. 1912-1999 Homepage - http://www.umich.edu/~epickett GPL hcp. +70.45 Never argue with an idiot. All the recent posts talk about the GP3 graphics but what about the physics ? Physics maketh the game in racing sims as all GPL fans will tell you. I'm hoping that the physics will be a big advancement on GP2 which , after playing GPL , feels too much like an arcade game . However , I've read that the wet weather implementation makes the cars difficult to drive . Andrew Ian <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8jcs36$18eo$[email hidden]...

Why, if you saw the release date as 18th July? Does your time machine only take you forward 3 weeks and can't manage 5? (GPLRank handicap: +39.92) Same thing happened with GP2, we went nearly nuts here for about two weeks hearing all the European r.a.s. posters rave about GP2 while we waited for Microprose to get it's act together and release it for us across the pond. I'm afraid to say it, but if it happens again with GP3 it will probably result in lots of piracy of the game here in North America, especially with the large installed base of DSL and cable modems here, you can bet it will make it's way here electronically if the physical means takes very long. Looking forward to GP3, (already have a copy on hold). --John --

my guess is it only works when found in the header section of an article, not the article body, so it's useless in this case.
