Joke 'GP3 is out' post mocked

A poster claimed GP3 would arrive in the '3th quater 2001' and was mostly GP2 with 3D support. Replies ignored the claim and mocked the spelling with a long string of puns.

How is that pronounced? Is it "threeth kwayter" or "thirth kwotter"? (Either way, sound like someone from the next Star Wars episode!) -- Regards, Bruce Kennewell, Canberra, Australia. --------------------------- Sam Motorhead <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8jjs0n$bku$[email hidden]... > .....About 3th quater 2001! You know: 1rd, 2st, 3th, 4st, 5nd, 6st, 7rd, 8nd, 9st, and 10rd! -- Joe Marques
Since posting that I have copy-righted both names. Mr. Lucas...if I see ANY of your characters named Threeth or Thirth, beware the wrath of my legal team! :-) -- Regards, Bruce Kennewell, Canberra, Australia. --------------------------- > LOL!!! > > How is that pronounced? Sorry, but a threeth is nowhere near either a tooth or a ford. -- Regards, Bruce Kennewell, Canberra, Australia. --------------------------- > >>.....About 3th quater 2001! Yesss! Ah, Carl. You have encountered yet again one of the wonders of humour: what we fall on the floor laughing our bums off over is, to a woman, simply unintelligible gibberish. -- Regards, Bruce Kennewell, Canberra, Australia. --------------------------- Carl Ribbegaardh <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:GHP75.10694$[email hidden]... > Been laughing my ass off, but when I showed my girlfriend she just looked at > me like I was a nutcase... > /Carl > > > "JS" <[email hidden]> wrote in message > news:[email hidden]... > > May the fourth be with you > > > > Jens > > > > On Sun, 2 Jul 2000 15:07:46 +1000, "Bruce Kennewell" <[email hidden]> > wrote: > > > > >Since posting that I have copy-righted both names. > > >Mr. Lucas...if I see ANY of your characters named Threeth or Thirth, > beware > > >the wrath of my legal team! :-) > > > > --------------------------------------------- > > [email hidden] > > Remove "NOSPAM" before using my email-address > > > > JensSchumi homepage at http://members.xoom.com/JensSchu/ > > Racing simulation, esp.
