Hi freaks!
I have been playing around with the demo for a while, was fully convinced
and got the Full Version of Need For Speed 5 Porsche Unleashed.
But now, when loading any track, my system locks up when the loading-bar is
at about the middle position. Never happened in the demo, and still works in
the demo!
I didnt change a thing in my system, also ran that 3dsetup.exe, to no avail.
When I replace the demo's *.exe with the full version's *.exe, I get the
freezes in the demo.
I have a Voodoo 1 and an SBLive, but I dont really think it has something to
do with my hardware or drivers, everything else (GPL :)) works fine. It's
just that messed up exe I guess.......... any1 with a better tip?

Mine used to lockup early in the game at the selection screen.
May not be the same problem but my CD read ahead had been turned down,
setting it back to 4X or faster solved it for me.
