The demo of MGPRS2 had a sound problem with my computer, where the sound would stop after about two laps...I thought it was just a glitch. I just got the retail version, and the music works fine, and I can hear the sounds in the config menu of the game, but when I get to the track, there are no engine noises. The only thing I can here is "you were black flagged" which obviously happens when I'm black flagged. :) I downloaded a sound add on, but it came with a unistaller. It seemed to work when it installed and uninstalled, however I didn't try the sound before the addon. Can anyone help? I've got a Creative Labs Sound blaster Adudio PCI 64V or something like that...Thanks! -- -Brett http://www.geocities.com/cartstop Goodbye Greg Moore 1975-1999 "I will see you at the front, and wish me luck..." - Greg Moore Goodbye Adam Petty 1980-2000 "It's all about racing on the track." - Adam Petty Congratulations to Juan Montoya, 2000 Indy 500 Champ! "While the Indianapolis 500 victory is an impressive achievement one must remember that this is not the race it once was. The opposition was really not up to much in the overall, global scheme of things. The Indy racing League field, whether Tony George and his people like it or not, are not good enough to make it in CART-level competition..." -The Mole (F1 Racing Magazine)

One suggestion I've seen, but haven't tried yet - start the game, then ALT-TAB back to the desktop. Turn up the volume in Windows, then ALT-TAB back to the program. Apparently MGPRS2 lowers the volume by half, I think. Eldred -- Tiger Stadium R.I.P. 1912-1999 Homepage - http://www.umich.edu/~epickett GPL hcp. +70.45 Never argue with an idiot. Actually, after hitting ALT-TAB to get to the desktop, you need to bring up the Creative mixer panel, and turn up the volume for Wave/DirectSound/MPS in the mixer. For some reason, when MGPRS2 starts up it reduces this mixer level to only 50%. EldredP wrote:

I'm sorry, I thought you were referring to the little volume icon in the bottom right of the Task Bar. EldredP wrote:

Both ways work. One more thing: Do it while in the main menu, since Alt-Tab and back messes up the graphics when already in race - at least on my machine.
