EldredP, what happened to your server?

Yo! When I first started racing online, I raced a lot at your server. Then, all of a sudden, your server was gone. After a while, it came back, but hosted races at converted tracks only. Why aren't you hosting races at the original tracks anymore? Given the fact that you have become a benchmark and an icon for quite a lot of people, you should consider hosting races at the original tracks, but for participants of the St. Eldred's Cup only, or for racers with a positive GPLrank. Unfortunately, such criterias would exclude me from your server, due to my slightly positive GPLrank (still don't know how that happened). On the other hand, if successfull, it will provide more tight races, both on your server, and on the other servers. Jon Andersen

After he left for another job, I petitioned my boss to let me run them again. Most of my reason for running them after that was for my Cooper league. I've also had various other issues in my business and personal life, so the servers haven't been set up with the same regularity...

I really don't care WHO races on them. I did it for the enjoyment of the whole GPL community. I hope the drivers get the enjoyment that I intend, and just don't act STUPID when online. Maybe I'll start them up again this weekend. Eldred -- Tiger Stadium R.I.P. 1912-1999 Homepage - http://www.umich.edu/~epickett GPL hcp. +70.45 Never argue with an idiot.
