For those who have not yet heard, Kenny Irwin has been killed today. It appears his throttle stuck wide-open, and he hit the wall in nearly the same spot Petty did, according to cnn.com. My prayers & thoughts are with all his friends, family & fans. :~( -- Chuck Kandler GPL F1 Handicap of +210.00 as of 6/15 GPL F3 Handicap of +438.42 as of 6/21 K&S Racing http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/thepits/195 Registered Linux User #180746 http://counter.li.org

Michael Waltrip can be a goofball most of the time, but he has been saying for some time now that the Oval tracks need to learn a thing or two from the road courses. Witness the amazing headon in the Bucsh Watkins Glen race last week. The guy climbed right out. The ovals are gonna have to figure out some way to soften the walls. having blathered now on the soapbox... my condolences to the family and friends of Kenny Irwin. dave henrie "Uncle Fester" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
