I fairly new to SCGT but like what i have seen so far. I have just
downloaded and installed the Service Pack 3.0 for SCGT. But i have a few
question.
Do i always have to race in carrer mode?
Can i not choose what track i want to drive on?
Whats up with the headlights on my car??
Thanks to anyone who can help
Kris

Ah. Common question this one. I used to think the answer was "get used
to it", but there *is* a headlamp fix. Here are the details, as posted
here a while ago by GTX_Slotcar:
Title : Real Lights Project 1.5 (RLP)
SCGT Version : 1.55
Description : Massivly improved the headlights and lighting
for SCGT.
Filename: : reallights.zip
Included Files : A lot :)
Last Modified : 07/02/1999
Author : James "Gunslinger" Wohlever
Email Address : [email hidden]
Web Site : Techware Motorsports
Site URL : http://skyscraper.fortunecity.com/epson/94/
Requirements : An unzipping program, ReadMAS 2.0, and full
install of SCGT.

You can choose career or single race in the first menu.
When in single race mode you can choose any available track or car. The
headlights were not included in the original release because SCGT did not
have an in-car view until after the beta team begged for it.
The quick and dirty solution for night racing is to turn the in-game gamma
setting ALL THE WAY UP. And if you still need more light, got to your
desktop properties and turn up the gamma for whatever 3d api you are using.
sounds maybe missing but can be had at the same website you got the service
pak.
have fun good luck

I couldn't find the file on that page. A little searching with the keywords
you had in your message turned it up at
http://scgtpatches.homestead.com/patches.html
Thanks for the info--I didn't know the lights patch existed.
Dave
Dammnit...I forgot something.
to unlock all the tracks and cars...cheat
in career mode type:
isi-cheeseman(press enter)
you should then see a box on the upper left of your screen that says 'cheat
mode enabled'
then type :
isi-tbone(press enter)
isi-aardvark(press enter)
these unlock the cars and tracks and give you a ton of cash
