Just wondering I havent installed it in a while because the warping and bad connections totally sucked compared to the virtually warp free I get with Nascar 3 Is gpl any better these days? -- --g_major on TEN --Team Oscar -- http://drive.to/racehard (Personal site) --"To finish a race first, you first must finish the race" -- Mark Martin

Odd, I have precisely the opposite experience... Anyway, there were a lot of on-line fixes in the 1.1 and 1.2 patches to GPL, plus they just released a "no-disconnect" patch last month that helped a bunch. I'd reinstall, get all the patches, and then install WinVroc. Pesky issue right now with on-line GPL racing is that, after some change ShadowNet made, you have a 50/50 chance of getting the BSOD when entering Chat. Blows the WinSock and you have to reboot to restore your connection. Looks like some kinda bug in WinVroc. Not too big of an issue if you'd rather race than be sociable, though. <g> Regards, Brett C.
