I tried MGPRS2 on the weekend, and I had the problem of everything running
at warp speed! Usually I am desperate for framerate improvements, but
things moved along so quickly it was undriveable. It was like running an old
DOS game on a new PIII.
The computer is a Toshiba notebook with a Savage IX (basically a notebook
version of the Savage 4).
Any ideas?

Picked up MGPRS2 today and have noticed that everytime I run the game
it sets my SBLive! wave output volume to 50%. I have to alt+tab out
of the game to turn it back up. Also applied the 2000 season car set
and it was ok at first, but after going back into the game at some
point the cars graphics were corrupted. Anyone else get this? The only
thing I can think of is that I did turn on triple buffering after
installing this car set. Could that do it? Had to try triple buffering
because I have noticed that if I set the graphics to run at anything
above 640x480 I get a graphics lag on my V5. In the readme it said to
turn on triple buffwering to fix it, but it made no dif. And why in
hell has Ubisoft installed a folder with files into the Windows
folder? If you uninstall the game it doesn't uninstall this folder
either. All-in-all this is a good game, but it shows that it was a bit
rushed out the door and still needs another patch. Which will never
happen.

Nope. I don't have that problem and I'm running it on a P3 800 with a
Voodoo5 5500. I do like being able to run it at full detail with good
frame rate though, wish I could say the same for F1 2000. Just wish
running it above 640x480 wasn't a problem for me. Did you get the
patch?
