Eh? I have read every DK interview I can find online and I cannot find a single instance of him saying GPL2 is a possibility. Could you post the link to the interview please? I read an online interwiev with the fantastic Payrus GPL staff: It seemed possible a GPL 2, and that's a great news!!! They spoke about the '77/'78 season. It would be very good, but I want to suggest to the fantastic David Kaemmer to think even about the 1982 year, in full "turbo era". GPL is a great game, I'm not so sure GP3 will be better! -- ----------------------------------------------------- Click here for Free Video!! http://www.gohip.com/free_video/

He didnt specifically mention GPL2, or which era such a game would be based on (pretty sure anyway) but he DID say they had successfully modeled a high down-force, high-powered racing car, using the GPL physics engine. Kaemmer only answered the question 'If you had to choose the era if you would make a GPL2' or something like that I believe. Andre

I think 1988 would be a great year, Senna had just moved to McLaren to start his emnity with Prost, there were 18 teams and something like 30 drivers, and those cars just look gorgeous compared to modern F1 cars.

Of course, I find the modern day F1 car ugly too. I, however, LOVE the look and the sound of a Champ Car...
