I managed to drag past him on the short straight after the last kink and before the s/f line :-) I think I still have the replay somewhere too! -- Cheers! Graeme Nash

Anybody lose or win a race by a very narrow margin?? I lost this one at Monza by half a foot! I ran out of fuel coming out of the parabolica on the last lap. I went into the parabolica with a solid lead... I crossed the line in second. I think i was -0.0 seconds. I have the replay at http://surf.to/speedyfast26/

Well, if you do one-make races, especially with Lotuses at Monza, it's quite common to have the top 6 within 2 seconds. But my closest ever finish was an early effort at the Glen - the timesheets gave me and (ahem) Chris Irwin identical times, but I was given the nod for position. -- David. I won a Novice race against Clark by 0.6 seconds at Silverstone. He got stuck behind a lapped car on the front straight and I nipped him at the line. That after chasing him for 6 laps! "EldredP" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
