Subtle distinction... WSC looks like being worth owning and therefore
paying for. And there will be a demo prior to release.

Yeah exactly, I hope they're listening... What do they see? A load of bloody
freeloaders who won't pay for their game anyway, they'll download it......

It's everybody that blows it out of proportions, and claim it will be better
than GPL.
Read in their interview from VROC that their "benchmark" is GPL. That
doesn't say as good as, does it ??
Then again. GPL is a no downforce, low grip sim. WSC will be a high
downforce, and lots og grip sim. Two worlds IMO.

I think they are scared as hell. Rightly so.

Well after reading some of the post's on gp3 I hope the west brothers are
listening. The sims seem to be dying for the next gpl. As per usual don't

Knowing what and how the West Bros. are attempting to model and code
into their product tells alot about what we will get. They are taking
the GPL approach to physics modelling and raising the bar (hopefully
more than 1 notch). If they can accomplish this (and include the "game
play" features they plan on) and provide us with an open-structure
support system, they can easily beat GPL by a mile. And unless Papy
releases a CART sim soon, WSC will rule the roost for some time (just
like GPL has).

And they want to release a one track demo *prior* to the final
release and maybe they even want to give us a '67 GP racer in the
sim to draw our own comparison to GPL.
Sounds pretty courages from the West brothers :)
At first I was very cautious about WSC but I have to admit, that now
I can't wait to try it :)

[- < ]>=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=I have heard (hey, I dont folow these boards at all or many others) that Nascar
4 will have the same physics as GPL? Is this true or did the guy who had a kick
ass sim at Sears Point. It was his own physics in the GPL shell. He does BETA
testing for many new sims.
