It was really frustrating on VROC last night. People were racing Solitude
in a Beta test!
And when it comes out, all us non-beta testers will be at a severe
disadvantage:-)
Come on, Martijn ( artijn? ), put us out of our misery!
- Michael
I had thought of asking Martijn to comment on the current state of the
track, but then I thought wouldn't it be better if he could just work
on the track and not have to answer questions on when, where, why,
how. So I did not. I am still wondering about its release and
Goodwood, but then again I am still slow at the 50 some other GPL
tracks that are out. So what is the point?

(Happy to be at 156.380, only because it is better than where I was
last week!)

According to contemporary reports the circuit was more difficult to learn
than the Nurburgring.

no problem, this doesnt take much time :-)
Im currently a bit busy so havent been working on it much the last few
days; but
from tommorrow on I'll be able to spent my usual 16hr day on it; depending
on some other stuff a bit further from my influence, (AI mainly) it should
be ready quite soon (that is, less than a week from now).
And the track sure as hell looks a lot better now than the last time I said
that!!
thanks for the interest
Martijn
btw. the beta test is not meant to piss off people (although it usually
does) but provides a lot of useful feedback to improve the track. Thanks
for your understanding.
