Nope, I have a Guillemot wheel, but cannot use braking separate from the throttle. Maybe I'm doing things wrong? Dennis.

Dennis, You're not doing anything wrong. The news there isn't quite right. Well, there is a bug, but it states that it is currently only working with the Guillemot FF wheel. It doesn't. Plus, I'm sure we all know by now that the drivers for the Guillemot FF wheel are the same as the ones for the Force RS and several others that use standard i-Force drivers. If it worked on the Ferrari wheel, it would work on the Force RS and others. I've tested it with these 2 and with the LWFF and it isn't working. Well, at least a patch is on it's way. -- Slot Tweaks & Reviews www.slottweak.com "Dennis" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > In article <[email hidden]> > rocco01963 <[email hidden]> wrote: > > > hasbro have confirmed there is a bug in gp3 which only allows the > > Gullemot ff.wheel to use 3 axis . a patch is being worked on. > > Nope, I have a Guillemot wheel, but cannot use braking separate > from the throttle. Happens all the time. Diablo 2 patch was out before the game.

Your absoultely right the warez version is the final. . These people waiting for the Retail will be shocked to find that many things will be missing in their copies. Just think 4 years and they had the nerve to release another unfinished product. I think that Gp3 is the actual patch for Gp2. Colin wrote:

What do you mean by 3 axis not working? I have a Force Rs and everthing works just fine. I am confused as to what everyone means by 3 axis. Can you please explain. Thanks. GTX_SlotCar wrote:

How's the cousin? :-) A "normal" racing wheel and pedals work like this: X-axis steers left and right. Y-axis controls throttle and brakes. Now, when the Y-axis in the neutral position, you get neither throttle nor braking. When it increases, throttle increases. When it decreases below the midpoint, you brake. I guess you realise this means you cannot brake and apply throttle at the same time. With a split axis (or "3 axis") pedals, throttle and brakes are controlled by different axis, and can therefore be used separately. Now, DON'T ask me what advantage there is in simultaneous braking and revving in F1. I am not enough of an expert in racing and the specialised English involved to explain it. (Read: he doesn't know, really ;-) -lark-
