That messages comes from a thread where I was struggling to get some answers from 3dfx about the Voodoo 5. I bought the card on the belief that games wouldn't need to recognize any strange SLI setup. I had hoped the SLI feature was performed in hardware and was automatic. Still, they might at least look into it now. Whether this can be fixed by new drivers....i hope so

Taken from : http://www.3dfxgamers.com/boards.asp?BOID=32&THID=65679&boardsort=lastpos t&boardpage=1 From what I've heard (from users) certain D3D games have trouble recognizing the SLI configuration of the Voodoo5, and will run better using only one chip. This will be addressed in either patches for the game or new drivers. Added: NOTE: I don't know that the problem is with the drivers or not at this point. Thanks, Chris S 3dfx Support
