I've been using GPL Rank from a machine here at work and I'm getting ready to begin using GPL from home again. My question, and it may be a stupid one, is that when I go home, will the player.ini I submit over-write any of my records with slower times? In other words, does GPL Rank always count the fastest lap times? The next time I submit my .ini file , it will defintley have no times for most tracks. Do I need to back up my player.ini from work and take it home? -/-WW

Take your work player.ini and put it in your home computer, or from home, use the GPLRank *Restore Your Player.ini* command to overwrite your home player.ini with your work player.ini -- Don Scurlock Vancouver,B.C. GPLRank -4.30 Come see how you rank, at the GPLRank site http://gplrank.schuerkamp.de/

Since you can correct warp times by re-submitting your player.ini, I would say that yes, you best times will be overwritten when you submit from home. However, from GPLRank you should be able to restore your player.ini from your work to your house and back (the "restore your player.ini" feature). As long as you restore the player.ini with all your PB's before you set a new one on either machine, you could probably use this to keep the two in sync. If you do get the two messed up, you can always edit the files and manually "re-sync" them. Randy On Thu, 27 Jul 2000 09:50:10 -0700, "Walk Walker" <[email hidden]> wrote:

It says 'Deleting old records', so this is a definite yes. The only way btw to do it.
