The Sept 2000 issue (USA) has Andy Mahood's Sim Column on Nascar 4. Quotes
from Kaemmer are included. This article makes it sound like N4 will improve
on the GPL physics engine. It will be geared more for the masses than GPL
of course (arcade mode, adjustable AI, and driving aids available), but
Kaemmer says the hard-core simmer will be able to run the game in simulation
mode with all driving aids off for a challenging ride using the GPL physics
engine. The cars will not spin off the track so easily, however, because he
says that the power-to-weight ratio for the Nascar cars is not as great as
the 67 GP cars.
