There is a framerate hack available... I think I got it from alphaf1.com, but I dont remember. I'm sure someone here can help you out. I can run 1280x1024 max detail at 31 fps and it sticks around 100% PO, though during the first turn if you are in the back it will jump to around 200% ;-P But that's ok because I dont really ever play it since I cant get my pedals working right. After waiting so long for GP3 I am very disappointed, to put it bluntly it is the biggest pile of crap i have ever bought. Too slow , even with an Athlon 800 and Geforce2 and no proper support for the Microsoft FF Wheel (gear paddles anyone ?) I'm sticking with GPL and F1 2000 much smoother and more challengingto drive. I'm taking mine Back!

Too slow? I have a Intel 700 Mhz with a Geforce 2 128 megs of ram, and I can run the game in the highest resolution with everything on and play the game at about 23 frames a second with like no slow down, their's a little here and their but nothing major, you might want to check and see about getting new drivers or something........... falcon26 "ian corps" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8luksh$t6s$[email hidden]... > After waiting so long for GP3 I am very disappointed, to put it bluntly it > is the biggest pile of crap i have ever bought. It runs great on my PIII 600 Geforce DDR system but absolutly crap on my old K6-2 412 with Voodoo2 sli. If some one knows a fix for Voodoo2 I'd love to know as in network in only runs as fast as the slowest machine (is that pants or what!) and still only 25fps max, come on Geoff where have you been? It's true, I am in the game. I'm the guy who walks around your house in an unflattering bathing suit, eating all your food. Oh wait.. that's me in 'The Sims'. Pants (+9.65 GPLRank handicap, baby)

Wow, there must be something terribly wrong with your system if F1 2000 runs smoother than GP3. I have exactly the same system and no problems at all apart from the MS FF wheel. ian corps <[email hidden]> schreef in berichtnieuws 8luksh$t6s$[email hidden]... > After waiting so long for GP3 I am very disappointed, to put it bluntly it > is the biggest pile of crap i have ever bought. Could the MS FF wheel be the problem? I've read posts in this newsgroup that indicate that this wheel uses excessive cpu. Just a thought. BD On Sat, 29 Jul 2000 15:38:27 GMT, "JeDa" <[email hidden]> wrote:
