Wehey!! Off to celebrate... After spending an hour the other night playing around in "Practice" at Silverstone (all assistance off, of course) I discovered that these new cars need much more downforce than they did in 1994. Running the Jordan with 16/16 wings and quite hard suspension, I turned out a 1:23.7 in practice. On to a race this morning, and qualifying. 60 minute session - I get out early and bang in a 1:24.3. Not a clean lap at all. Coulthard immediately follows with a 1:24.1. I go back out and "hook it up" as Mr Brundle would say - and bang in a 1:23.349!! At the end of qualifying I am on pole by 0.3 !! I shall do the race later this afternoon (following the German GP) Onwards and upwards! JB

You should be able to put a Minardi on pole in GP3, since the player is always driving the 'best' car. "Jonathan Beckett" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
