When racing, why damm this stupid LCD screen display always stupid and useless informations like "12 laps race" or "22 pilots in race". Why not display the time differences between you and the previous and behind driver at every intermediate point, or the top 6 drivers , or some others statistics. Geoff doesn't know anything about F1. Why doesn't he produce a wargame or a quake-like instead of wasting 4 years of his life to make a shit ??

But in a real F1 car, you can get that info from the pits, if you want...<g> Eldred -- Tiger Stadium R.I.P. 1912-1999 Homepage - http://www.umich.edu/~epickett GPL hcp. +59.33 Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level, then beats you with experience... Remove SPAM-OFF to reply.

My thoughts exactly! I was driving Interlagos on saturday and it only flashes up the gaps in front and behind for a couple of seconds....when you're busy driving the S bends by the pit exit. When you get on the straight and have time to look at the wheel it just says car 10, 21 cars left. GREAT! I wanted to know if I was gaining or losing time! Why doesn't it cycle that information or, as the wheel screen is so big, just have it ALL on the screen. Kev Erwan wrote:

I believe in F1 2000, your pit radio tells you what who and where. This is one cool feature of F1 2000 that I *REALLY* like. Possibly another feather in the F1 2000 reality hat. You have to give me that one I think :-) -- [email hidden]

Maybe they do, maybe they don't. Do F1 wheels tell you what car number you're in or how many are still on the track? No, probably not, but useful stuff like the gaps and splits would be nice. Afterall, it DOES show them but for only 2 secs just after crossing the s/f line. It's not too much to ask for it to be alternately displayed with the car number etc is it? Kev

I only have two wheel buttons, and they're upshift/downshift. Oh well... Eldred -- Tiger Stadium R.I.P. 1912-1999 Homepage - http://www.umich.edu/~epickett GPL hcp. +59.33 Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level, then beats you with experience... Remove SPAM-OFF to reply.

Is that the code that can't sort out that queuing on the second longest lap in the season versus doing another lap behind a Benz roadblock is quicker? ...and Barrichello showed them that earlier in the year too..... Have fun....Scott.

Press 'G', and you get the information in GP3, too! So if you just map one of your wheel buttons to the 'g' key, you can have the information at the press of a button, whenever you want ;) Andrew -- +-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-+ | Andrew Busch | email : [email hidden] | + PhD Student | + | Research Concentration in Speech, | Just when you think something is | + Audio and Video Technology | idiot-proof, somebody builds a + | QUT, AUSTRALIA | better idiot. | +-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-+

You're boring with your "GP3 is just as real life". Oooohh, ooohhh, wake up, it's just a game. You're not Schumi. So, it would be better for us to have some usefull informations instead of "12 laps race". Just for you know, the "real" drivers have the time gap informations: When they are in front of the pits, they have a little board with all this informations. In GP3, not. What a real sim, eh, eh !!!!!! rrevved <[email hidden]> a crit dans le message : [email hidden]...

Just press 'G' :) That will display the last gap for front and behind.......if you can map it to a button on the Wheel....its handy to find out who is ahead and behind Ashley | > >My thoughts exactly! | > >I was driving Interlagos on saturday and it only flashes up the gaps in | > >front and behind for a couple of seconds....
