Hello, ... just posted it to GPLRank ... Guess who is NEGATIVE! No champagne available,so I need to settle for a bottle of beer. (it's good though :-) ) And ok. Here's a virtual round of beer to every person reading this message! Cheers!! The last seconds needed were snipped off at the Ring. I did manage to do a 8:24 lap with one big total spin on the grass. I studied the lap with replayanalyzer, and I think I spent something like 4-6 seconds spinning, so with a clean lap I should get to near 8:20. But now I just need to enjoy the feeling..... aahhhh......oooohhhhh..... :-] I'll leave hotlapping now for a while and try to get my racing skills up, so see you at VROC races! BTW. I just went back to default setup with just gear ratios copied from G. Huttu's setup. I feel quite confident now in the lotus with that setup. -- Jyrki Laine ; GPLRank -1.17 <-- (No electrons were harmed in production of this message) -->

Congrats! I'm working on it (reaching zero) myself. Shaved almost ten seconds off my fastest 'ring lap last night, from 8:39 to 8:30, which helped knock my Rank down to about +17. A few more seconds from my 'ring lap and maybe shave five seconds or so from my fastest Spa lap and maybe I'll get there. -- ----------------------------------- Morgan Vincent Wooten GPLRank: +16.84 mailto:[email hidden] http://members.tripod.com/~morganv/ ----------------------------------- argh! <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8m9um5$h58$[email hidden]... > Hello, > > ... just posted it to GPLRank ... > > Guess who is NEGATIVE! > No champagne available,so I need to settle for a bottle of beer. > (it's good though :-) ) > > And ok. > Here's a virtual round of beer to every person reading this message! > Cheers!! > > The last seconds needed were snipped off at the Ring. > I did manage to do a 8:24 lap with one big total spin on the grass. > I studied the lap with replayanalyzer, and I think I spent something like > 4-6 seconds > spinning, so with a clean lap I should get to near 8:20. > > But now I just need to enjoy the feeling..... aahhhh......oooohhhhh..... > :-] > > I'll leave hotlapping now for a while and try to get my racing skills up, so > see you at VROC races! > > BTW. > I just went back to default setup with just gear ratios copied from G. > Huttu's setup. > I feel quite confident now in the lotus with that setup. > > -- > Jyrki Laine ; GPLRank -1.17 > <-- > (No electrons were harmed in production of this message) > --> > > > >

Maybe, but I'm not naive enough to believe that I can get 'negative' that easily... Now that's what I call progress! Seems to me we were fairly close at GPLRank just a month or so ago. You must be taking the same stuff as Eldred. :) Congrats! Ken MacKay Halifax, Canada GPL Handicap +88.79 "argh!" wrote:
