Major Joystick Problems

Whenever I want to turn left or right using my joystick, it always wants to jerk right on me. This problem has come up with every single joystick that I have had over the last 4 years. Is there any way (other than to get a wheel) that I can fix this problem? Here's an example: I was running some laps on the Glen in the GPL Demo and when I came out of the loop, the car drifted out to the gravel on the left side of the track and all of a sudden I was in a spin that sent me all the way around. Thanks

I've not used the demo, but in the real sim you can go to Options and flip to the Controller page. There is a slider that runs from "Linear" to "Non-Linear". "Linear" is for wheel controllers, "Non-Linear" is for joysticks. There's also the choice of "Direct" or "Generic" joystick drivers. Additionally, go to your Game Controller settings in Control Panel. There's a checkbox that says "Poll with Interrupts Enabled". Try setting it opposite of whatever you have it at now. Somewhere in these is likely the combination of settings you need. Regards, Brett C. Cammack That's Racing! Motorsports Pompano Beach, FL
