J&R Computer World in New York www.jandr.com is advertising the Thrustmaster Ferrari Force Feedback Racing Wheel in their newest catalog for $119.99. Is this the exact same wheel as the Guillemot? Also, the advertisement says Serial/USB connection, but Thrustmaster's website only mentions the USB connection. Does it have a gameport connection as well as USB or no? Has anyone tried both this wheel and the Logitech Wingman FF wheel, and able to offer a comparison opinion? -- <remove 7of9 for e-mail replies> -- Bill Jones e-mail addresses: Computer Sciences Corp. Guillemot owns Thrustmaster. They are one and the same company. -- Nos

Thrustmaster = Guillemot Wheel uses either Serial or USB - no game port. Control program allows all buttons to be defined as keys - useful for GP3 "return to pits" etc. Make sure it's a newer model - earlier stock had flimsy gear change paddles (though Guillemot will ship replacements foc). Haven't tried Logitech but I love the Ferrari "Bill Jones" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8mp17u$ua7$[email hidden]... > J&R Computer World in New York www.jandr.com is advertising theThrustmaster > Ferrari Force Feedback Racing Wheel in their newest catalog for $119.99.Is > this the exact same wheel as the Guillemot?
