Are the pots actually goosed, or do they just need cleaning ?. "Zonky" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:c_sk5.6086$bi.16782@NewsReader...

My accelerator is jerking- in the properties screen, when depressed it lags, jitters, backs off and then finally floors itself (after a second or so...) Presumably the rear scew comes out and then the casing is just pryed off? Z. Please remove my_pants when replying.

I had a few saiteks and had to get rid of them because of this problem. Its a design flaw and it will keep happening. A temporary fix is to pour isopropyl alchohol (or tape head cleaner) into the pots then force the pedals up and down really quickly. Hope this helps.. If there's still guarantee on the wheel, remember to mail Saitek, so they send you another pedal unit. cu Zolli
